Terms of Service for Lịch Âm

Welcome to Lịch Âm. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our mobile application.

By using Lịch Âm, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About the App

Lịch Âm is a Vietnamese lunar calendar reminder app. The app helps users create, manage, and receive reminders for lunar calendar events such as death anniversaries, family events, and other personal lunar dates.

The app may include features such as:

  • Lunar calendar event management
  • Local reminder notifications
  • Lunar and solar date conversion
  • Google Sign-in
  • Cloud backup and sync
  • Optional Google Calendar sync

2. Use of the App

You agree to use the app only for lawful and personal purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the app for illegal activities
  • Attempt to access another user’s data
  • Interfere with the app’s security or operation
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the app’s source code or services
  • Upload or store harmful, offensive, or illegal content

3. Account and Sign-in

You may use some features of Lịch Âm without signing in.

If you choose to sign in with Google, your account is used to identify you and sync your app data across devices.

You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. We are not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized access to your Google account.

4. User Data

You are responsible for the information you create or store in the app, including event titles, dates, notes, and reminder settings.

If you use the app offline, your data is stored on your device.

If you sign in and enable sync, your data may be stored in our cloud database to support backup and synchronization.

5. Notifications and Reminders

Lịch Âm may send local notifications on your device based on the reminder settings you choose.

We try to provide accurate and timely reminders, but we do not guarantee that notifications will always be delivered on time. Notification delivery may depend on your device settings, operating system, battery optimization, time zone settings, and other factors outside our control.

You should not rely only on the app for critical or legally important deadlines.

6. Lunar Calendar Accuracy

Lịch Âm uses lunar calendar calculation logic to convert and manage lunar dates.

We aim to provide accurate lunar calendar information for Vietnam. However, calendar calculations, time zones, leap months, and device settings may affect results.

You should verify important dates independently when accuracy is critical.

7. Google Calendar Sync

If Google Calendar sync is available, it is an optional feature.

When you choose to sync events to Google Calendar, the app may request permission to create or update calendar events in your Google Calendar.

The app does not add Google Calendar reminders by default unless clearly stated. Lịch Âm local notifications remain the main reminder system.

We are not responsible for changes, deletion, or behavior of events inside Google Calendar after they are synced.

8. Third-Party Services

Lịch Âm may use third-party services, including but not limited to:

  • Google Sign-In
  • Google Calendar API
  • Supabase

These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. By using features connected to those services, you also agree to their applicable terms.

9. Subscription, Payment, and Ads

The current version of Lịch Âm may be free to use.

In the future, we may add paid features, subscriptions, or advertisements. If we do, we will clearly explain the pricing, benefits, and payment terms before you make a purchase.

10. Data Deletion

You may delete events directly inside the app.

If you want to request deletion of your account-related cloud data, please contact us at:

11. Intellectual Property

Lịch Âm, including its design, features, text, graphics, logo, and software, is owned by [YOUR COMPANY / YOUR NAME] or its licensors.

12. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee that:

  • The app will always work without errors
  • Notifications will always be delivered on time
  • Lunar calendar calculations will always be perfect for every use case
  • Cloud sync will always be uninterrupted

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages or losses caused by your use of the app.

13. Limitation of Liability
